Giorgio La Rosa graduated in Modern Literature (Historical Sciences) with honors from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Milan ("XXIX A. Gemelli Prize"). He had as first teacher, Professor Adriana Petracchi, Professor of History of Political Institutions in the same University. After the untimely death of Prof. Petracchi, he approached the History of Political Doctrines, having as Maestro the Professor Ettore Adalberto Albertoni. After a long collaboration with his alma mater and the University of Milan, he won the competition as a Researcher at the University of Insubria, where he still holds several courses. He studied Rattazzi, Manin, Gioia, d'Annunzio. For years he has been dealing with the life and works of Luigi Angeloni (1759-1842), which he has published numerous essays about. He is a member of the Italian Association of Historians of Political Doctrines, of the AFHIIP (Association Française des Historiens des Idees Politiques) and of the Accademia degli Immobili in Alessandria.
